Optional Fat Flush Three day Jumpstart from Fat Flush Diet

If you want to get a jumpstart on cleansing and weight loss pursue this three day adventure!

 

Daily Schedule for all Three Days:

Morning- Skinny Smoothie (add extra collagen protein if you want to get it up to 20g)

Mid-morning Snack- Fat Flush Metabolizer Cocktail and your choice of 2 jicama, carrot or celery sticks

Lunch- Skinny Smoothie

Mid Afternoon Snack- Fat Flush Metabolizer Cocktail, 2 jicama, carrot or celery sticks

Dinner-Skinny Smoothie

Before Bed- Fat Flush Metabolizer Cocktail

Drink at least 8 ounce of cran-water or pure water between all meals and snacks.

 

Fat Flush Metabolizer Cocktail

-1 large ripe tomato, or 8 ounces of Knudsen’s Very Veggie Juice (etc) or bone broth

-¼ cup fresh squeezed lime or lemon juice

-½ cup filtered water (unless using juice)

-Handful fresh parsley

-Handful romaine lettuce or spinach

-1 green onion

-1 clove garlic peeled (optional)

-1/8 tsp cayenne pepper, mustard and turmeric

-Pinch of ginger

-2 tsp flaxseed oil

-1 tbsp chia seeds

-6 ice cubes (optional)

-sprinkle of sea salt (optional) please do not use Himalayan Salt as it has no iodine (recommend Celtic Sea Salt)

Combine all ingredients in blender until desired consistency is reached.  This is a real cleansing drink and you might notice detox symptoms (headache especially).  If you want the detox effect without having to drink this you can take Standard Process’ SP Cleanse (5 capsules 3x/day)

 

Skinny Smoothie

 

-8 ounces cran water (1 ounce unsweetened cranberry juice with 7 ounces of water)

-Small handful of romaine lettuce, kale or spinach

-½ Cup frozen berries

-2 scoops protein powder

-1tbps MCT oil (or coconut oil)

-1 tbsp ground flax, chia or hemp seeds

-1 tbsp non-GMO sunflower or soy lecithin granules

-Ice cube (optional)

-2 extra scoops of collagen protein (or whey if you can tolerate it) to achieve another 10 g protein

Combine all ingredients in blender (except protein powder) and blend until desired consistency is reached.  Then add in protein powder and blend on low.

Our tip: Make all of your smoothies at once, even the night before works. Place them in 16 oz mason jars in the refrigerator if you do not mind them not being super fresh.  I make all mine in the morning for one day….

Two Tracks for Cleansing: Which Track is For You?

1.     Weight Loss and Detoxification

2.    Nurtured Detoxification

 

Track 1: Weight loss and Detoxification is for those who really have a significant weight loss goal. Your diet during this cleanse will be more closely monitored to assure that you are burning fat while also detoxifying the major systems in the body that are in charge of elimination. In some ways losing weight can be the easiest while you are detoxifying.  On this cleanse, your body gets extra support from the nutrients you are getting in the supplements and your diet will produce a more anti-inflammatory state that will be more efficient at metabolizing carbohydrates and fats. When we have less inflammation in our bodies, it is easier to lose weight. 

 

Track 2: Nurtured Detoxification is for those of you who are dedicated to a whole system detoxification while also being realistic that your daily activities may require more calories or your life may require something not quite so extreme. If you have had a serious illness, are under a lot of daily stress or at a comfortable weight right now, choose this route.

 

What to eat on the cleanse for both tracks?

We recommend making the Fat Flush Metabolizer Cocktail and drinking 1-3 of those a day for detox or you can add in SP Cleanse if you want to maximize detox.  And drink at least one Skinny Smoothie a day.

 

Oils/Fats

Flax

MCT/coconut

Olive oil

Avocado oil

Sesame Oil

Butter(for people who are Ok with dairy)

 

Proteins

2 eggs a day (optional)

8 oz lean meat (3-4 oz is roughly the size of your palm of your hand assuming your fist is a cup)

1 or 2 servings Clearvite or SP Complete (total of 20 g protein) and up to 1 or 2 servings collagen or whey (up to 20g protein)

 

Carbohydrates

All vegetables (except avoid starchy vegetables like potatoes, sweet potatoes, winter squash, pumpkin, parsnips, corn as they are higher in sugar) 

(sweet potatoes, carrots or peas OK for ½ cup a day but avoid if on Track 1)

 

Fruits

2 portions daily—each portion is the size of a small apple or what you can hold in your hand (a handful of strawberries, blueberries, plums, etc)

Up to 1 avocado a day

 

Other

Apple cider vinegar

3-6 olives/day

 

If on Nourishing Detox (Track 2) you may add:

Lentils/beans/mung beans ½ cup a day

Quinoa ½ cup/day

1 brown rice cake a day

Sweet potatoes, carrots or peas OK for ½ cup a day

(you may have two out of these four daily)

 

AVOID:
Nuts

All dairy (except for some of you, whey)

All gluten (wheat)

All grains (this includes rice)

Corn

Starchy vegetables like potatoes, sweet potatoes, winter squash, pumpkin, parsnips, corn(sweet potatoes, carrots or peas OK for ½ cup a day)

Soy

Vinegars except apple cider vinegar

All dried fruits

All sugars

All refined foods

All other foods not on the allowed list!

 

Allowed Cheats:
stevia

1 cup of organic coffee or green tea if your adrenals are healthy enough to tolerate it!

Xylitol gum

 

Daily Schedule

Use a smoothie as a meal replacement at least one meal a day.  It also makes a good snack mid-afternoon.  We have a chocolate Clearvite in collagen protein that is delicious!

When you wake:

First thing when you wake: Drink warm water with a splash of lemon (helps the liver and gall bladder get ready for the day!) and take Weight Loss Packet and LVGB (1/2 hour to 1 hour before eating)

Eat within one hour of waking and aim for 15-25g protein.  Take 2 Black Currant Seed Oils and 1 CLA capsule with breakfast.

Snack within 3 hours of breakfast

½ hour to one hour before lunch, take your second dose of Weight Loss Packets and LVGB

Lunch— Take 2 Black Currant Seed Oils and 1 CLA capsule with lunch.

Snack within 3 hours of lunch

Dinner- Take 2 Black Currant Seed Oils and 1 CLA capsule

Before Bed: Take last dose of LVGB (on an empty stomach)

Warm water with that last dose of 1 Tbsp MCT oil (this is not considered part of you 2 Tbsp MCT oil a day or Flax oil a day, this is an extra Tbsp of MCT oil)


Important on this Cleanse!
Eat every 2-3 hours

Have one Tbsp of Flax Oil or MCT oil 2x/daily

1 Tbsp Chia seeds or flax seeds daily

You may consume unlimited bone broth

Aim for at least 70g protein a day

 

CRAN-Water

Four 8 oz glasses a day

Mix 4 oz straight cranberry juice with 28 oz water and drink it throughout the day

If you are using cranberry concentrate mix 1 Tbsp into one 32 oz jar of water and drink throughout the day.  Always better to drink away from food so as not to dilute your own digestive juices!

Drink an additional 32 oz of water a day at least.  I love adding electrolytes or sea salt in my water.

 

Supplements:
1000mg CLA- 1 capsule 3x/day with food

Black Current Seed Oil- 2 caps, 3x a day with food

Weight Loss Packets- 2 packets per day, 1 in the morning and one around lunch (take on an empty stomach and take before 1pm).  Take ½ to 1 hour before you eat.

Clearvite (or SP Complete)- 2 scoops, 1 or 2x per day (can choose collagen or pea protein base)

LVGB- 1 cap 3x a day 1 hour before food (can boost up to 2 caps 3x/day if you want extra liver/gall bladder detox and are tolerating it well (i.e.: no pain under right rib cage)

MCT oil (a derivative of coconut oil without the full fat and great for your brain and metabolism)

General Lifestyle

Dr. Heather recommends everyone take Omega 3s and Vitamin D (unless you have tested your vitamin D levels and they are normal).  These are so important for immune, hormonal, brain and gut health as well as calming inflammation).  I personally take 3000-4000mg of Omega 3s a day (Fish oil or Cod Liver oil) and also 2-4,000 iu/day of Vitamin D.

There is also a new product from Nordic Naturals for Eye Health and it is my new fav—I don’t need reading glasses at night when I take it.  I add those Omegas into the mix for my 4,000mg of Omega 3s a day.

Notes:
You MUST have at least one bowel movement a day while you are detoxifying.  If this is an issue for you please take 400-600mg of Magnesium Citrate at night before bed. We have this at our office and it works really well.

The GLA and CLA are essential fatty acids (meaning your body does not make them, you need to eat them) that help with fat burning, moistening skin and immune system health

Weight Loss Packets: contain EndoTrim (a supplement aimed to help with the endocrine system- hormones- health and detox).  L.
